Customizer upgrades and new features

The customizer framework has been entirely upgraded, bringing the Kirki component to version 4, which means easier and faster editing. You’ll notice a revamp of the  customizer interface and an easier way to pick color samples. The interface is more compact allowing to see more options in the same screen.

The styling options have been reorganized, to make the editing experience easier and more intuitive.

New vertical card design options

Now you can set a custom padding for the content of the vertical cards, perfect for minimal design pages:

Improved page header customizations

Now the gradients are applied instantly, without page refresh, and you can choose the gradient direction.

Improved button styling options

The button styling as been fixed and improved.

• We’ve made some fantastic updates to button gradients in the latest Pro Radio theme version. Now, applying gradients to buttons is faster and smoother than ever before! With just two colors instead of three, you’ll experience seamless transitions when hovering over buttons, adding a touch of elegance to your website.
• But that’s not all! We’re thrilled to introduce a new customization feature for call to action buttons. You can now create a custom gradient for your call to action buttons, giving your website a unique and eye-catching style that stands out from the crowd.
• We want to give you a heads-up that these changes may require you to set the color for your buttons again. While most styling will seamlessly transition to the new theme version, it’s possible that some adjustments might be needed to achieve the desired look. Don’t worry, though! We’re here to assist you every step of the way.

New menu styling options

From the customizer you can now set many new css options for the menu:

• Dropdown alternative icons
• Item size, padding, margins among items
• Icon rotation on hover
• Alternative hover effects for the main menu items

Pro Radio Dedications plugin update

The new Dedications plugin version has a fix for the Emoji support in the latest Chrome version. A recent udpate was causing emoji to turn into an “undefined” text and it’s been upgraded and working as normal.

In the Premium version of Dedications there is also a cool upgrade: a new header bar notification will call your attention when there are new dedications to approve, making it easier and faster to make your listeners happy!

The Dedications plugin comes for free included in the Pro Radio standard license, and the Premium version can be purchased separately to add new features and options, making the management of your radio even faster. With Dedications Premium you have

Radio player update

Also for the beloved Pro Radio player plugin there is a juicy new feature: the player can now display the song title on the phone lock screen and the song title will be pushed to third party bluetooth speakers (eg. you can see the song title in your car when playing the radio.  via bluetooth). For the moment, no image though, for that one we will have to wait a bit more.

How to update your radio website

Pro Radio offers a 1-click update procedure: no FTP, no uploads, no complex procedures! When a new update is available you can simply click a button and it’s done! Additional information is available in our documentation, available in multiple languages.

Remember that to update you need a valid “Support and Updates” service linked to your license. If that’s expired, get in touch to renew your service.
