Meet the new Synthwave radio station website template

Style: Retrowave / Synthwave

This amazing electronic and nostalgic music style is conquering every day more fans because it mixes up effectively the highest modern electronic music quality and the vintage sound and emotions from the 80s, with artists like The Midnight, Kavinsky, Starship and many others already reaching an audience comaprable to the most popular electronic music styles.

So ,we decided to support this cool music style, and work on a new neon-style demo for Pro Radio, which also brings in many technical improvements.

The demo comes as well with downloadable PSD tempaltes to create your own featured images in the same style, available to every Pro Radio user from the download area of our website. Easily recreate the same effects of our demo website with your own speakers and djs simply by replacing the pictures in the provided PSD files, and obtaining the exact same look as our demo website, without complex design adjustments.

New: 3D header hover animation

You can now activete a new effect for every page header, the 3D animation, which will move perspectively the header content of the page following the mouse movement, for some extra WOW effect. This effect can be enabled in the Customizer, under the Page Header section.

New: Astroidz, the 3D animated interactive background for WordPress

This background animation, created in thress.js, is not just a video, but as well an animated background able to react to your mouse movements, and works with a perfect 60 FPS performance also on any mobile device abd browser.

The project was originally created for our theme Vice DHRK, which was published 1 year ago on Themeforest. Since so many customers asked us to take the radio station functions to the Vice theme, which was technically not an option, we decided to take this special background component to Pro Radio. The original animation script has been also optimized for performance and loading time.

Using the Customizer, you can as well change background, colors, lights, material and number of particles, obtaining a very unique effect for your website.

With the Pro Radio WordPress theme, you can enable this component globally, and also disable it for single pages. Or, on the opposite, you can leave the component disabled site-wide, and ehable it only for a specific chosen page, using the custom fields of the page.

New: hover effect VHS glitch animation

With the latest Pro Radio version you can edit the archive items in great detail, and activate one of a new series of hover effects: the glitch hover effect. This retro style effect will be part of multiple upcoming demos, and emulates a vitnage VHS tape distortion, to catapult your mood in the perfect 70/80/90s mood.

New Film Grain effect

In the WordPress customizer, under the Layout and Design section, you can enable the special effect called Film Grain. This effect will add an animated grain to the page, and the intensity can be controlled with a simple slider, to adjust its opacity to your taste.

The new Synthwave radio station demo
